A final possibility, of course, is that the warming has little to do with CO₂ and that the CO₂ levels are a function of temperature and not the other way around …

I titled this post “A Curious Paleo Puzzle”. That’s the puzzle. How can an increase of 13 W/m2 in CO₂ forcing cause an increase of 115 W/m2 of upwelling surface longwave radiation?
